AWS Elemental MediaTailor adds prefetch ad support for personalized ad insertion
Feed: Recent Announcements. AWS Elemental MediaTailor now supports prefetch ad requests for personalized ad insertion. Prefetching manages the request of ads in advance of ad breaks, increasing the time an ad decision server (ADS) has to respond. Live events with spikes in audience viewership benefit from prefetch ad requests as they provide additional time for real-time bidding for ad impression transactions and for new ad assets to transcode which can increase revenue and ad-fill rates.
